Fjeldberg – Devotion for November 27th, 2025

READ (Psalm 136:1)
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.

REFLECT

While we are called to give thanks all year long, this is a special season for giving thanks. What things are you thankful for this year? The psalmist challenges us to give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. He gives us good gifts.

Please join me in giving thanks for our community of faith here at Fjeldberg. We help and support one another, we worship and pray together, we celebrate and grieve together. 

The best part is in the second half of the verse. “for his steadfast love endures forever”. God’s love is steadfast, it endures forever. It is not dependent on any effort on our part. We are already good enough, tall enough, smart enough, and faithful enough. God’s love endures forever.  

PRAY

Loving God,  We give you thanks for your steadfast love that never ends.  Amen and amen.
