READ (Chronicles 7:14)

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

REFLECT 

Election season is upon us once again. As usual we are hearing all kinds of rhetoric regarding what’s wrong with few actual solutions being voiced. Reviewing what is going on in Washington, one has to wonder about the morals of many of the elected officials, not to mention the non-elected bureaucrats. 

If ever there was a time for the people of God to heed and take action on 2 Chronicles 7:14 it is now. 

Pray for our country. Pray that the elected, and those soon to be elected, will humble themselves and seek God’s instruction so that they will honorably and faithfully execute the duties of their position.  

PRAY   

Almighty God, we see the many ways our country has gone astray from your guidance. We ask that you will influence the leaders of our nation to once again seek your guidance enabling them to turn the country back to your healing hand. Amen.
