READ (1 John 4:19)

We love him, because he first loved us.

REFLECT 

During this time of Lent, we think about God and how he sent His son to die for us. We as people have not always been the most loveable, yet God still loved us. That was an ultimate sacrifice. We need to remember to love others, even when they don’t seem very lovable as that is what God did for us.

PRAY   

Dear God, please help to remind us that God always has loved us no matter how we have acted. We in turn need to remember to love others as God has loved us. Amen.
