READ (Isaiah 55:9)

Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my plans than your plans.

REFLECT 

There are times that we really want or think that life should go a certain way. We sometimes wonder why when we pray our prayers aren’t being answered. Sometimes our wants align with our desires, and other times, life guides us down a different road. We need to remember that God’s plans for us happen in His time not ours. God’s plans might not be the same as what we thought should happen. God reminds us in scripture that His thoughts and plans are higher than ours.

PRAY   

Dear Lord, help us to remember when we bring items to you in prayer that you hear our prayers. Also, please help us to remember that you answer our prayers in your time and your will. In your name we pray, Amen.
