READ (Proverbs 19:21)

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

REFLECT 

We’ve all heard the quote, “Make plans, God laughs”. But what a wild realization we often seem to forget: He already has everything planned out for us! He’s known the entire time, and will continue to know each step moving forward - what a powerful reminder to “Let go and Let God”!  

Always remember: God is in control and he knows your future. God has what is best for you. The next time your plans are interrupted, stop and take the time to see if it’s the Lord wanting to give you direction. You will never be disappointed in what He has in store!  

PRAY   

Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart full of plans, dreams, and desires. Help us to recognize that we will always be limited in our understanding and our plans may not always align with Your perfect will. We ask that You take control and let Your purpose prevail in our lives, knowing that Your counsel is what truly stand. Amen.
