READ (Lamentations 3:22-23)

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

REFLECT 

God’s love doesn’t stop! Thanks be to God! The last few years have been long and heavy with unknowns and doubts. But why do we complain, and worry, and add even more stress to ourselves? Why don’t we trust that we really ARE children of God, and that we will NOT be forgotten? God’s love never ceases! 

Yes, we’ve seen some tough times, but that should also remind us that God’s love truly does not stop. Look back and think about the changes and adjustments you have experienced. God has equipped you and walked with you all along the way. God is still loving and caring for us; and every morning brings a new day and a new opportunity to shine God’s love. God is faithful.  

This past week was Ash Wednesday and the start of our Lenten soup suppers and worships together. We gather and share in meals and the word of God. We may have to change our schedules for Wednesday gatherings, but we continue to share the Good News. As we gather for meals, worship, confirmation, choir, and bell choir, we will be fed. The steadfast love of God will continue.  

Think about how God has been faithful to you. Thanks be to God! Now, how will you continue to share God’s love to others?    

 PRAY   

God who is with us, help us when the world is changing, or even when our daily lives are changing. We need you near us. Help us to navigate when things seem unclear. Lead us to be faithful and to trust that we are your children. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
