Fjeldberg – Devotion for September 11th, 2025

READ (Psalm 34:19)
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

REFLECT

Many things that can be viewed as troublesome are going on in our world, some close to home and some globally. Some are just annoying, but some are very sad and can really make me think why are these things happening to me and to many people around the world. I found this verse while looking through a gift I had received of daily bible verses. It struck me that once again I am putting God’s thoughts and plans in my human limitations. I must remember that my thoughts and plans are so limited. God’s plans are so much greater than anything our human brains can even imagine. I/We need to let go and let God deliver us from our troubles in His time.

PRAY:

Dear Heavenly Father, open our hearts and minds to know and trust that You are in control and will deliver us from all our troubles. In Jesus’ name Amen!
