Fjeldberg – Devotion for August 20, 2024

READ (Isaiah 26:3) Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace, in peace because they trust in you.

REFLECT During Pastor Tim’s Summer Slowdown Series, I was reminded of a time when I was running late and got stuck behind someone on the road not even doing the speed limit. It was so frustrating because I was focused on our lack of speed and the amount of time I would be late. If I had been steadfast and remained focused on God and my faith, God might have been showing me an opportunity to find God’s peace in a crazy world.

PRAY: God who gives peace, thank you for always being with us. Help us to keep our hearts and minds focused on you. Be with those who need your guidance and grace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
