READ (1 John 4:7-8)

Dear friends, let’s love each other, because love is from God, and everyone who loves is born from God and knows God. The person who doesn’t love does not know God, because God is love.

REFLECT 

We live in a world where people hold many different beliefs. When someone sees things differently than we do, it can be tempting to keep our distance. When someone hurts or frustrates us, we may want to cut them out of our lives. 

But God calls us to love one another. Because God is love, the way we treat others should reflect His love. When we choose to love—especially when it is difficult—we draw closer to knowing God and showing who He is.  

PRAY   

Dear Lord, help us to remember to love each other even when we disagree. To love one another is to know You. In your name we pray, Amen.
