READ (Hebrews 13:8)

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” 

REFLECT 

Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that Jesus never changes. His love, care, and promises stay the same, no matter the season of life. It is estimated that over 40% of Americans over 55 will eventually develop dementia. As you may know, dementia has touched my life and maybe that is true for you, too…a spouse, parent, friend or yourself. Our physical and mental health may change, but God’s faithfulness remains unwavering. Through every season, God is with us. His faithfulness is not dependent on circumstances but on His unchanging nature. 

PRAY   

Loving God,  Thank You for Your unchanging faithfulness. May we find comfort in knowing that You remain the same, no matter what season we are in. When things change and become uncertain, help us hold on to Your faithfulness. Remind us that You are with us always, yesterday, today, and forever. Even if our minds cloud and we forget, You still remember us. No matter the challenges we face, Your love remains constant. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
