Family Faith Practices
Want to be able to talk to your kids about their day at school?
About their faith lives?
Do you want to be able to have important conversations with them when they’re 6, 12, 17?
Here is how it works: find a time that works for your family–maybe it is before bed, maybe it is at the breakfast table–turn off the TV, silence the cell phone, and work through the following five practices. Read through the stories in a Children’s Bible or through Luke’s Gospel or pick up a devotion with Bible verses at Fjeldberg’s entrance. Talk about your lives.
Spending this time together will strengthen your relationships with God and with each other and hopefully create an atmosphere of openness and trust in your home.
Family Faith Practices
1. Share your highs and lows of the day.
2. Read a passage in the Bible.
3. Talk and ask questions about the Bible passage.
4. Pray about each others highs and lows.
5. Serve or plan to serve.
